Vladimir Dvorkin specialises in data analysis and price forecasting in the energy sector. One of the areas of his expertise is the application of artificial neural networks to forecasting.
Vladimir Dvorkin is conducting scientific research at the Danish Technical University. In parallel, he is a Research Fellow in the area of forecasting at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow (Institute of Pricing and Regulation of Natural Monopolies).
Vladimir Dvorkin received a Master’s degree in economics in “Energy and commodities markets” from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. He has higher technical education in the field of electric power engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. He completed engineering practice at the Power Engineering Group EOL. He speaks Russian and English and has competencies in Matlab, EViews, Stata, MathCAD, GAMS, SPSS and other specialised data analysis software.
